Use Case

Background

PFAS are problematic - and they are seemingly everywhere. They have been widely used for their unique properties (cook ware, plastic wrap, carpeting, fire fighting foam, etc.) but are deemed a health concern to humans and animals. They are extremely long lasting and can accumulate in the environment, water, plants, animals and humans. While they have been detected in water, soil and agricultural products (e.g. grains, dairy, produce) their overall impact on food and water supplies are not yet fully known. Various national and state agencies are ramping up testing to get a better understanding of PFAS.
